Root Samsung on Combination firmware


Sometimes we use combination firmware on Samsung phones to fix problems related to security, in this post i am going to write about root method for Samsung phone after installing combination, specially Samsung S7 Edge U3 root on combination that was required by me during work.

What is root and why we root Android phone?

Before start the process you must know about root, if you already know what you are going to do? you can skip this phrase. But if you have any doubt then continue reading. Root is actually a Super user with all permissions on a Linux OS that are not allowed for normal users. Your Android phone uses Linux permissions and file-system ownership. You are a user when you sign in, and you are allowed to do certain things based on your user permissions. But with a Superuser permissions we even modify Android file system and it’s  secure files like EFS, NVM read write that are not possible with normal user permissions.

How to root Samsung on combination firmware?

Samsung using combination firmware on their service centers to make different tests and fixes on Samsung phones because this firmware is specially being released for this purposes, with factory binay (combination firmware) it’s we also can do some jobs because of its security is less then normal firmware.
To root your Samsung S7 Edge on B3 or B4 you first need to install combination firmware then download Kingo root for Windows and install on your computer. Connect your Samsung S7 Edge to your computer / laptop using Micro USb cable. normally you don’t need to turn on usb debugging option from developer options, but if you want to confirm then go to

About Phone > Software information > Tap on Build number 7 times to enable developer options. go back and enter into developer options and check usb debugging.
  • Open Kingo Root on your computer
  • Connect your S7 Edge to pc via usb cable
  • Accept prompt on mobile phone screen
  • Press Root button on Knogo Root and wait to complete the process
  • You will have Rood Success message on Kingo Root
  • And mobile phone’s screen also
  • Done!
